Healthy aging isn’t about turning back the clock. It’s about feeling strong, staying active, and maintaining the energy to enjoy life as you get older.
I focus on the factors that influence how we age, including cardiovascular health, hormonal changes, muscle and bone strength, nutrition, and lifestyle.
Questions? Concerns? Contact me today to see how I can help you achieve your health goals.
Every treatment plan is unique, just like every individual. I look at the whole of you to evaluate what needs to be done to help you live longer and better. Some of the methods I use are:
Blood work to monitor cholesterol, blood sugar, thyroid function, iron, and vitamin levels when appropriate.
Understanding hormonal changes with age and exploring treatment options, including bioidentical hormone therapy when appropriate.
Practical recommendations to support energy, metabolism, muscle strength, and bone health.
Strength training, cardiovascular exercise, and mobility work to maintain strength and physical function.
Carefully selected vitamins, minerals, and botanical medicines based on your individual health needs.
A complementary treatment option for concerns such as muscle tension, pain, and physical discomfort.
I’ve been practising naturopathic medicine for over 10 years, and my background in personal training continues to shape how I approach health. I believe nutrition, movement, strength, and hormonal health all play an important role in how we feel and age.
As a mother of two teenagers who enjoys running and hiking on the North Shore, I understand that life is busy and that good health advice needs to be realistic.
I work with patients of all ages, with a particular interest in perimenopause and menopause, digestive health, weight management, and healthy aging.
When we work together, I’ll take the time to understand your concerns, review your health history, and recommend testing when appropriate. From there, we’ll develop a clear, personalized treatment plan with regular follow-up appointments to monitor progress and make adjustments along the way.
